Repairs to St. John the Baptist Church,
Mount Bures

A major programme of repair work to Mount Bures Church
commenced January 2014

The last major repair was undertaken in 2005 when the Tower was retiled
February 10th 2014  
The southern Transept is having the roof completely renewed.
This includes new felt, battons and tiles.

Southern aspect of roof.

Not only is the roof undergoing repairs, the bricks are being replaced and repointed where necessary.
