The Thatchers Arms is currently part of the "Stoke by Nayland Steel Quoits" league
The teams consist of:-
(a) Holbrook
(b) Stoke by Nayland
(c) Wormingford Crown
(d) Thatchers, Mount Bures
(e) Bures "A"
(f) Bures "B"

The Thatchers "B" team originated at the Star PH at Fordham Heath. This was taken over my new management and renamed "The Cricketers", unfortunately the team had to find new accommodation
They relocated to the "White Hart" at West Bergholt.
Then to "The Crown" at Wormingford
Then to "The Beahive" at Gt Horkesley
back to "The Crown" at Wormingford
"The Crown" later was sold, and under new management closed down all internal and external sport activities. The team were forced to relocate once again.

During 2017, The Thatchers "B" team relocated back to the Wormingford Crown
