Thieves Target Parish Church

During a visit by John Cowlin on the 17th October, he noticed a single floor tile had been removed in the porch and hidden by a lump of grass.
On the night of October 24th, the thieves returned and removed a further 200 quarry floor tiles, leaving 40 to 50 broken scattered on the floor
Obviously a well planned theft taking a single tile to start with, to see if it would
match planned work.
Quarry floor tiles were also stolen from Monks Eleigh Church with numerous
thefts of building material from other churches.
In Bures cemetery, they removed over 60 wall coping stones from the entrance drive

The thieves kindly left us a boot or shoe print
